Our high-quality paint protection film (PPF) is designed to deliver durable, long-lasting protection. When properly maintained, the film can last up to 8 years under normal conditions. However, actual lifespan depends heavily on how well the vehicle is cared for over time.

Roxy PPF provides a limited warranty for 6 years from the date of installation or purchase (for DIY kits), covering specific product performance issues.

No surface cracking

No major yellowing or fading due to UV exposure

❌ What’s Not Covered:

Scratches, stains, or damage from improper washing (e.g. automatic car washes)

Lifting or peeling caused by poor maintenance, tampering, or external interference

Environmental damage from bird droppings, tree sap, bug splatter, or fuel spills if not cleaned promptly

Installation issues from DIY applications

Normal wear and tear, misuse, or negligence

Film that has been removed, altered, or tampered with by anyone other than Roxy PPF

📋 Lifespan Depends on Proper Care

While our PPF is made to last, its appearance and durability will vary depending on how you care for your vehicle. To maintain coverage under warranty and get the best results, please follow our care guidelines:

Hand wash only with pH-neutral soap

Avoid abrasive tools or high-pressure washers near film edges

Clean off bird droppings, sap, or insects as soon as possible

Do not attempt to lift, peel, or stretch the film

⚙️ Installation Method

At Roxy PPF, we use precut templates for minimal risk of cutting on the car’s paint.

We do not claim our installation is at the same level as dedicated PPF shops. Our service is tailored for practical protection rather than a seamless, showroom-style finish — and that’s reflected in our pricing.

Precut templates are used for all jobs. While they offer safety and efficiency, they are not always 100% accurate, which may lead to slightly reduced coverage or minor misalignment in certain areas.

We offer wrapped edges where possible, but due to panel shape and film limitations, full edge-to-edge coverage cannot be guaranteed.

Relief cuts may be made to allow the film to conform properly. These areas may remain partially uncovered and can be visible, depending on the shape of the panel.

🧼 Surface Prep Approach

We do not perform abrasive decontamination (such as compounding or heavy polishing) prior to film installation. This is because such methods can leave visible scratches and would require paint correction, which we do not offer.

Instead, we focus on non-abrasive prep to ensure clean application without altering your original paint. Our goal is functional paint protection, not cosmetic perfection.

🔍 Fit & Finish Expectations

Minor specks of dust, lift marks, or small stretch lines may appear in some areas. These are common with all PPF installs and are not considered defects unless excessive.

We strive for the cleanest result possible, but perfect invisibility is not realistic due to the nature of the film and installation process.

⏳ Post-Installation Edge Lifting

During the first few days to a week after installation, some film edges may lift slightly as the adhesive continues to cure. This is normal and usually an easy fix — please notify us immediately if you notice any lifting.

Over time, dirt may accumulate on some exposed edges. Occasional light trimming or edge maintenance may be needed as part of regular upkeep.
